Estimate potential SGMA charges using your GSA's current published schedule and charge basis where verified, with a labelled estimate where no rate is available. Confirm the result with your GSA. Your GSA’s number is the official one. This is not a bill or a compliance determination.

Key facts

Groundwater charges:

Field record:

Daily soil data since 2016 on our oldest site.

12,000+ pressure chamber readings, 4,000+ of them on blocks with their own soil probe logging that day (through Oct 6, 2026).

Grants:

Service area:

8 Central Valley counties. Managed field service today in Kern, Tulare, Fresno and Madera counties. Confirm availability for your location before enrolling.

Crops:

California almond, pistachio and citrus growers and their crop advisers

The models

Three trained models run every week: two estimate crop stress, trained on our own pressure chamber readings matched to soil probes and weather, and one estimates the water each block applied from probes, weather and pump records. The Thursday draft water order comes from rules mined from our agronomist’s past orders. On Platform, your own Certified Crop Adviser or adviser makes the call. On Managed, our Certified Crop Adviser does.
