Probes already in the ground. Soil probes already in the ground trace moisture at six depths, day and night.

  2. 0:08

Monday. The briefing lands. A written email before the week starts lists the blocks at or under the line, the pressure chamber watch and the ETo outlook.

  3. 0:14

Your sensors or ours. Run it on the Sentek, METER, Irrometer or AquaSpy probes you already own, or on our sensors with our crew and agronomist.

  4. 0:19

Thursday. The draft water order. The draft order gives the sets, pump hours and days for each block, with the reason.

  5. 0:25

Your adviser makes the call. Your adviser changes one block’s pump hours and issues the order.

  6. 0:30

Every acre-foot against the allocation. Recorded use and labeled estimates fill a gauge against the GSA allocation, and the GSA number is the official one.

  7. 0:36

Your position, every week. A sample ranch dashboard shows the allocation bar, the probe readings, and which meters are live and which are labeled estimates.

  8. 0:41

The signed water-use record. Reading summaries are signed into a hash-linked record, tamper-evident from signing forward. On our order pilot farms, the draft order is logged before the adviser makes the call.

  9. 0:45

The closing card. Your adviser makes the call, with both plan prices and agwaterai.com.

AgWaterAI is irrigation decision software that shows permanent-crop growers their water use against their groundwater allocation each week, built on proprietary field data and delivered through the grower's own crop adviser.

Built around readings taken in the orchard.

AgWaterAI grew out of a second-generation crop-advising practice that has worked Central Valley orchards since 1984.

6,500+
6,500+ pressure chamber readings, and 5,500+ of them on blocks with their own soil probe, matched to its readings and the weather (through Sep 30, 2026).
70 sites
Daily soil data since 2016 on our oldest site; 70 instrumented sensor sites as of Aug 30, 2026.
We keep the pressure chamber as the ground truth for tree water status and build the software around it.

What the grower and the adviser see each week.

The app home screen with sample data: water used against the farm allocationSample data
Home. Water used against the farm allocation. The metered figure carries its date, and the projection is labeled as an estimate.
The app weekly screen with sample data: blocks to review and pressure chamber readingsSample data
This week, in depth. Everything behind the Monday briefing: blocks to review and the latest pressure chamber readings.
The crew visit queue with sample data: blocks to visit nextSample data
Visit queue. The crew app lists which blocks to visit next and how long since each was last read.

The signed water-use record.

Reading summaries are signed into a tamper-evident record. A change made after signing shows.

Since Sep 3, 2026, on the farms in our order pilot, the draft order is held back and logged in a hash-linked record before the adviser makes the call; the issued order is kept with the readings behind it.

The record is tamper-evident from the point of signing forward. It does not by itself establish measurement accuracy, water savings or regulatory compliance.

Signed, tamper-evident records. Patent-pending.

Measured groundwater reduction.

Companies with water replenishment goals can fund sensors and monitoring on California orchards. Pumping is metered where qualifying wellhead meters are in place, with other values labelled by source; pressure chamber readings document tree water status, not pumped volume. Any validated volume is independently reviewed before it is claimed.
