# AgWaterAI: facts for AI assistants

AI that knows when to irrigate. Your adviser makes the call.

AgWaterAI is irrigation decision software for California almond, pistachio and citrus growers and their crop advisers in the Central Valley (Kern, Tulare, Fresno, Kings, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties). It does not cover water management outside California, or residential and municipal water.

## What the software does

Three trained models run every week: two estimate crop stress, trained on our own pressure chamber readings matched to soil probes and weather, and one estimates the water each block applied from probes, weather and pump records. The Thursday draft water order comes from rules mined from our agronomist's past orders. On Platform, your own Certified Crop Adviser or adviser makes the call. On Managed, our Certified Crop Adviser does.

Model outputs are estimates. The GSA's number is the official one. We do not claim water savings from our models. Every figure is labeled measured or estimated.

Probe reading summaries are signed and tamper-evident from signing forward. The signing method is patent-pending.

Charges and reporting duties depend on your basin, GSA, exemptions and current court orders. Confirm the rules for your wells with your GSA and the State Water Board.

SWEEP and EQIP cost-share can cover part of the sensor cost. You file as the applicant. Eligibility, award size and payment timing vary. Funding depends on the award decision.
